This is a workaround, not a wallpaper setting.

Kindle shows the cover of the most-recently-opened book. You may need to reopen this file before sleep. Ad-supported devices may show ads instead, regardless of the file.

Send it with Amazon’s Send to Kindle

Good to know before you begin.

Does Kindle support custom lock screens?

Not natively. CoverLock uses the book-cover lock-screen workaround available when Show Covers on Lock Screen is enabled.

Will it stay visible while reading another book?

No. Kindle displays the cover of the most-recently-opened book, so open this file again before putting your Kindle to sleep.

Do I need Calibre or Canva?

No to both. CoverLock creates the EPUB directly in your browser.

How do I get it onto my Kindle?

Download the EPUB, then use Amazon’s Send to Kindle service or transfer it over USB.

Does this work with ads?

Special Offers devices may display ads instead of book covers. This file cannot change that setting.
